Appointment of FTA’s new joint Artistic Directors

Festival TransAmériques is delighted to announce the appointment of Martine Dennewald and Jessie Mill, who will take over the artistic direction of the Festival together. Following in the footsteps of Martin Faucher, who is leaving his position as head of the organization at the end of the 15th edition this spring, they will take up their duties this summer, starting with the curation of the FTA’s 2022 edition.

FTA Breathing Space, Oxygen for Artists!

Last spring the pandemic turned everything upside down, calling into question the order of things and ways of doing things, leading the Festival TransAmériques to rethink its responsibility and its activities. Given the current context, the Festival is launching a new initiative in support of artists: the FTA Breathing Space, investing $244,000 to support 27 projects by 42 artists from Quebec and across Canada
