Spectators who purchased tickets for the performance on June 2, 2016 will be reimbursed.
Montreal, June 3, 2016 – Due to technical problems beyond our control, the performance on June 2 of L’autre hiver at the Centre Pierre-Péladeau was cancelled. The Festival TransAmériques, as well as the artistic teams of LOD musiektheater, Mons 2015 Cultural Capital of Europe, Manège.Mons and UBU compagnie de création, the producers of the show, sincerely apologize for this unfortunate turn of events.
All those who purchased tickets for the L’autre hiver performance of Thursday, June 2, 2016 will be reimbursed, without exception. They will be reimbursed directly, or contacted by the point-of-purchase venue at the latest by June 17, 2016.
That being said the FTA continues full steam ahead, and we would like to offer festivalgoers who were unable to see L’autre hiver a chance to discover another piece in this 2016 edition (Jamais assez or Gala) at the discounted rate of $36, depending on ticket availability.
The Festival TransAmériques regrets the inconvenience caused by this last minute cancellation, and wishes to ensure loyal festivalgoers that they will find in Jamais assez or Gala works that are rewarding, unique and very striking.
