THÉÂTRES DU MONDE — 2ND EDITION

Hamlet

EIMUNTAS NEKROSIUS (LITHUANIA)

Hamlet

After having conquered Montreal audiences at the last FTA with a marvellous presentation of Chekhov’s The Three Sisters, the visionary Nekros¨ius is back with a masterpiece. His Hamlet is an incredibly inspired performance full of startling images.

Le cri du caméléon

JOSEF NADJ (FRANCE)

Le cri du caméléon

A performance that combines elements of the theatre, dance and the circus, le Cri du Caméléonis the result of a fruitful encounter between the Anomalie Cirque Compagnie (ten young men who graduated three years ago from France’s Centre National des Arts du Cirque) and Josef Nadj, a highly talented choreographer with a boundless imagination.

SPEAK BITTERNESS

TIM ETCHELLS (SHEFFIELD)

SPEAK BITTERNESS

“Speak Bitterness shows a group of seven penitents whose enormous task it is to confess to everything. They are by turns cowed, breezy, anguished, reluctant, jovial and of course determined. The text they work from lies somewhere between a mad catalogue of unlikely human infamy and the transcript perhaps of some strange and comical show-trial.” Tim Etchells for Forced Entertainment
