Philanthropic Picnic

Marie-Eve’s integration project research focus is individual donor development for Montreal theatres. She has collaborated with multiple organizations on philanthropic management, including Les Foutoukours, Diversité artistique Montréal (DAM), La Maison de répit La Ressource, and Théâtre du Nouveau Monde.

Delrieux has managed various cultural projects, helped develop the Arts and Philanthropy program at Conseil des arts de Montréal, and cofounded Les Conversations philanthropiques en culture, an organization whose mission is to bring together actors from across the cultural sector, and to encourage good practice and exciting work in arts philanthropy.

Many of her creations have been staged nationally and internationally for a variety of audiences, earning her recognition within the performing arts community for her aesthetic approach and unique creative process. She has worked with Margie Gillies and Imago Theatre for many years. She is also an activist who is engaged in efforts to make the theatre world more accessible and equitable.

Catherine is a recipient of the Mid-Career Artist Award from the Fondation de la Faculté des arts de l’UQAM (2018) and the Bernard Amyot Award (2019) from the National Theatre School of Canada. In 2020, she was a finalist for the Jovette-Marchessault Award.

As managing and artistic director of her company Le Théâtre de La Bourrasque for over 20 years, she has organized 15 international festivals in several countries (Morocco, Italy, Tunisia, Spain, and France), taken part in the Festival d’Avignon on multiple occasions, and taught master classes abroad.

A mediator, creator, and trainer, Sylvie joined Théâtre aux Écuries in 2017, where she is responsible for private fundraising, audience development, school groups, and mediation. She continues to share her passion and experience in philanthropy and audience development for all ages. Inclusion, education, and sharing are an integral part of her core values.
