Philippe Néméh-Nombré is an assistant professor at the Saint-Paul University Élisabeth Bruyère School of Social Innovation. His research focuses on Black political thought, cultures, poetics, and ecologies. He is particularly interested in the possible relationships between Black and Indigenous liberatory perspectives and critical methodologies. He is a writer, and the author of Seize temps noirs pour apprendre à dire kuei (2022).

Paule Mackrous, aka Pattie O’Green, is an art historian, horticulturist-arboriculturist, urban forester, and yogini. She has published Les prophétie de la Montagne (2023, Éditions Marchand de feuilles) and Mettre la hache (2015, Éditions du remue-ménage), and Manifeste céleste (2021, Éditions du remue-ménage). She holds a doctorate in semiology, and is also something of a tree doctor.

Kama La Mackerel is a Mauritian-Canadian multilingual writer, visual artist, performer, educator and literary translator who believes in love, justice and self and collective empowerment. Their practice blurs the lines between traditional artistic disciplines to create hybrid aesthetic spaces from which decolonial and queer/trans vocabularies can emerge.

Valérie Lefebvre-Faucher is a writer and editor. She has worked at Écosociété and the Éditions du Remue-ménage and is currently editor-in-chief of La Liberté. Her work has also appeared in the ecofeminist anthology Faire partie du monde (2017), as well as in Procès verbal (2017), and Promenade sur Marx (2020).
