In light of the current exceptional circumstances, the Festival TransAmériques has reluctantly decided to cancel the international aspect of its 14th edition, scheduled for May 20 to June 3, 2020.
The Festival TransAmériques is a celebration to shake up collective apathy. This 14th edition takes place at the beginning of a new decade that will be crucial for the future of humanity.
In response to popular demand, the FTA team is pleased to announce a fourth performance of Why? on Saturday, May 23 at 8 p.m. at the Monument National during the 14th edition of Festival TransAmériques.
On this Monday, January 27, 2020, the artistic director of the Festival TransAmériques Martin Faucher will be presenting four major works by contemporary dance and theatre artists who will be in Montreal for the 14th edition of the FTA, taking place from May 20 to June 3, 2020.
The Belgian choreographer Alain Platel and his celebrated ballets C de la B will be back this spring 2020 with Requiem pour L., a not-to-be-missed, striking piece presented from May 26 to 28.
