Departure of Co-Executive Director and Administrative Director

Festival TransAmériques Board of Directors announces the departure of Sandra O'Connor, co-executive director and administrative director. She will step down on September 25 to pursue a new career opportunity.

Since joining the organization in June 2024, Sandra has played a key role in several initiatives, particularly the renewal of the board of directors and the increase in public funding.

Martine Dennewald will continue in her roles as Co-Executive Director and Co-Artistic Director, working alongside Co-Artistic Director Jessie Mill. With the support of the team and the board of directors, she will ensure continuity in the Festival’s activities while the board’s governance committee begins a recruitment process.

Festival TransAmériques is moving ahead with enthusiasm as it prepares for its 21st edition, taking place from May 26 to June 10, 2027.
