FTA values the diversity of its audiences, artists and workforce, and is committed to presenting dance and theatre that are inclusive and accessible to all members of society. We are working to ensure that every person, regardless of ability, may have equal access to our shows in a safe, respectful environment supportive of human dignity.
Reduced Mobility
The venues where FTA presents performances are, for the most part, accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Upon presentation of the Companion Leisure Card (CLC), we offer a free ticket to the person accompanying them.
In order to help us welcome you under the best possible conditions, please let us know that you are coming (514 844 3822).
Surtitles
Shows in foreign languages are presented with French and English surtitles.
Most French-language performances are surtitled in English, and vice versa.
Surtitles can be useful for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Surtitling is supported by the Cole Foundation.
Audio Description
The June 5, 2024 performance of Weathering by choreographer Faye Driscoll came with an audio description option for those who are blind and visually impaired, presented in association with Danse-Cité, with the support of Fondation des Aveugles du Québec.
