TransFormation is an intensive contemporary dance workshop designed for professional dancers, choreographers, dance teachers and emerging artists. The morning classes focus on techniques and approaches that will allow dancers to diversify their technique and their stage skills. The afternoon sessions consist of a contemporary dance creative lab.
For its 11th edition, TransFormation will once again feature workshops with FTA artists. These workshops provide a rare and intimate incursion into the artistic approaches of a few choreographers, offering greater insight and understanding of their work. Plunged into a unique creative experience in the studio, participants will come into direct contact with a strong artistic vision, and will also attend a performance of the choreographer’s work presented at the Festival. This is a great opportunity for dancers to fine tune their own ideas and pursuits, as well as their individual styles and aesthetic choices, as they work closely with major artists.
