Anatole Felde et le canard bleu

MICHEL BÉRRUBÉ

These two joyfully absurd short plays were written by a playwright who prefers to remain anonymous, hiding under the pseudonym Hervé Blutsch, in sympathy no doubt for the characters that he transforms with impunity into the butts of his jokes in this burlesque piece. He takes them out of their boring, absurd lives the life of the office, of the office clerk working five days a week for a lifetime.

Details

The action takes place in an office, in three offices in fact, with piles of documents and three clerks, one of whom breaks the rules by jumping into the void and also by simply wanting to change the numbing routine. Many dream of making an overly official government official dance at the end of a rope, including the official himself.
