As a featured DJ, he has set dancefloors alight in places as far-flung as Mexico City, Cotonou and Hong Kong. Co-founder of the Tumbao DJ collective, his specialty spans the afro-latin-brazilian-caribbean spectrum, with a predilection for vinyl.

Musician, composer and radio show host, his passion is to broaden and share his interest in the socio-cultural legacy of these musics, and the stories they tell of migration and cross-pollinisation.

The duo explores all the genres of their native grooves. From organic to electronic, they assemble fresh new and old-school Brazilian rhythms. The collective mixes a diaspora of styles in their sets, which takes their fans on a tropical journey. Their avid listeners are very enthusiastic about their evenings, which display an array of sonic dialects that go way beyond bossa nova and samba.

Although he’s relatively new to the Montreal underground music scene, he has been a force in the making. His DJ sets often include an eclectic fusion of techno, trance, breaks and bass music, but you can always expect him to incorporate percussive elements to his mixes as well.
