En Français comme en anglais, it’s easy to criticize

JACOB WREN

When there are no ideas left for which to lay one’s life on the line, what is left is theatre, music, books, one’s body, someone else’s body and criticism.

Details

This distanced, floating state of existence gives the sense or illusion of having power over something. Like Beckett’s Vladimir and Estragon, these actor-dancer-performers from Toronto and Montreal, assembled by director Jacob Wren, play at feeling that they exist, that they are not totally alone in the chaos of the world and their own minds. A strangely sensitive, organic and fascinating play.
