L’Annonce faite à Marie
Violaine kisses a man and becomes a leper. One kiss, a single kiss, and she catches leprosy. A terrible gift of love. Yet while her body rots away, her soul soars . . .
Details
For at the bottom of the abyss into which the passion of love plunges us, is there not the sparkling of the notion of the infinite? There is the gnawing desire, and the doubt: what if God did not exist? And if there were no point toloving, dying? And if that was all there was to life, to living?
