In homage to Arthur Rimbaud, El Teatro del Silencio presents a play without text. And nothing could be more eloquent. With every breath, every movement, the actors/dancers express the gaiety and profound sorrow that marked Rimbaud’s tortured life.
Mauricio Celedòn learned his art from the masters: pantomime with Marcel Marceau and theatre with Ariane Mnouchkine; the virtuosity of his work should come as no surprise, but it does. It astounds. For with boundless strength and vitality, this young troupe explodes into life on the outdoor stage.
