JOURNEY WITHIN
In her first directing foray, Sophie Cadieux has come up with a magnificent triumph, a dizzying initiatory journey, the search for an inaccessible self-image. Guillaume Corbeil, author of Five Faces for Evelyn Frost has concocted a strangely hypnotic theatrical tour de force that lures the spectator into a waking dream. And the virtuoso Marie-France Lambert is transformed into an anonymous woman who strangely becomes the elusive reflection of all women.

On the spur of the moment a woman flies to Prague in pursuit of another woman. That other woman is herself, or rather the image she has of herself – an image so pressing that she will show her own passport photo to tourists and ask them if they have seen the woman. It is an, impossible quest. A bewitching, spiralling narrative that multiplies the reflections of the self, sowing doubt as one reflection after another is discovered. Elusive and enigmatic.
