Multidisciplinary artist Shash’U is shaping the future of street music and dance on stage and on the big screen, including through prestigious collaborations with record labels such as Fool’s Gold Records and Joy Ride Records and dance companies like Ebnfloh and La Tresse. His passion for innovative sounds and captivating visuals is reflected in his performances and compositions, which constantly push the envelope of artistic expression.

His passion has driven him to build a multidisciplinary production house in Place des Arts known as DASA, where he crafts his music and records and hosts local and international artists. He is the co-founder of Ol’Jack Nu Jack, a non-profit organization that throws dance parties and highlights dancers through different events. Dapapa’s sonic journey is eclectic, blending elements from various genres, his tracks often featuring a fusion of deep house, electro, breaks, UKG, club, and acid.

As a DJ, he has been creating unique mixes for over a decade, setting dance floors on fire in Mexico City, Cotonou, Hong Kong, and many other cities. He co-founded the Tumbao collective, and specializes in Afro-Latin-Brazilian-Caribbean sounds, with a taste for vinyl and rare finds.
